The first part of this newsletter describes the position of the (Vedic astrology) planets this week.

The second part describes the impact of the transit planets for each rising sign.

Note:  Sun and Mercury remain under the 9th aspect of Rahu until April 25. This may cause issues for presidents, physicians, governments, stocks, business, communications, and with health and computer viruses. Get extra rest, watch your diet, and avoid stress.

WHERE THE (VEDIC ASTROLOGY) PLANETS ARE THIS WEEK:

Sun transits its exaltation sign, Aries, from 06:12 to 13:02°.  Sun is under the ninth aspect of Rahu until April 25.  Leaders, presidents, physicians, administrators and governments should be careful and patient.

Moon is waning and transits Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and into Aries.  The new Moon is in Aries, April 26 at 6:16 a.m. CDT.

Mars transits Taurus, from 05:03 to 09:53°. Mars is outside the orb of influence of other planets and is in good strength.  This should be good for property matters and for those in the police, military, or construction, and for athletes, surgeons and executives.

Mercury transits Aries, from 06:16 to 01:48°. Mercury is under the ninth aspect of Rahu until April 24th. Be careful with stocks, business, computers, technology, communications, intellectual property, and health and computer viruses.  Mercury is closely conjunct Sun until April 23rd.  Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces rising sign persons, companies, and countries should be careful and patient

Mercury is retrograde until May 3.  Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most rising signs. The impact is primarily for Aries, Libra and Aquarius rising signs – and only when Mercury is within 5 degrees of the rising sign degree, or another planet by conjunction or aspect.

Jupiter transits Virgo, from 22:36 to 21:46°.  Jupiter is in good strength, but is co-dependent on the strength of its fast-moving dispositor (landlord), Mercury, which is frequently weak or afflicted. This undermines Jupiter’s significations, such as law, education and religion.

Jupiter is retrograde, Feb. 6 – June 9.  Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most rising signs. The impact is primarily for Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn – and only when Jupiter is within 5 degrees of the rising sign degree, or another planet by conjunction or aspect. Aries, Libra, and Aquarius rising sign persons, however, should also be careful and patient through mid-September as Jupiter is transiting their 6th, 12th, and 8th (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Venus transits its exaltation sign, Pisces, from 03:15 to 05:20°. This should be good for women, romance, luxuries, affluence, entertainment, and the fine, healing, and performing arts, etc. Venus is retrograde until April 15th, and in Pisces until May 30th.  Aries, Leo, and Libra rising sign persons, companies, and countries, (including Donald Trump), should be careful and patient as Venus is transiting their 12th, 8th, and 6th (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Saturn transits Sagittarius, from 03:32 to 03:20°. Saturn is retrograde until Aug. 25th. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a problem for most rising signs. The impact is primarily for Cancer, Virgo and Pisces rising signs – and only when Saturn is within 5 degrees of the rising sign degree, or another planet by conjunction or aspect.

Saturn is weak in degrees until Dec. 12th.  This is not good for the elderly, the poor and needy, and working-class persons.  There may be problems relative to Medicare and Social Security, as well as for immigration, agriculture, manufacturing and the oil, gas and minerals industries.

Rahu and Ketu transit Leo and Aquarius, respectively, from 07:24 to 06:57°.  Those persons, companies or countries with 5 – 8° rising signs or with any planet at 5 – 8° in odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius) should be careful and patient.
