Rahu gives good results, if it is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, or 11th houses and if it is not closely conjunct with any planet, close to the 5 degree orb of the rising sign, or closely aspecting any other planets. The ruler of the house where Rahu is sitting must also be strong in order for Rahu to bestow beneficial results.

When placed in their debilitation signs of Scorpio and Taurus respectively, Rahu and Ketu are even more harmful.
